About Us

Hi, I'm Katie! I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for more than 10 years. Along with my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I also hold graduate degrees in Adult Education and Training, Curriculum and Instruction as well as a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder. If you can't tell, I'm kind of a nerd and I LOVE to learn!!

I have additional trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Neurofeedback, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trainings in ADHD and many trainings in Autism. I have also been fortunate enough to present on this subject at statewide trainings as well.

I am married to my amazing husband and we have two beautiful kids. We have one son and one daughter, Xavey and Aurora. They keep me on my toes and bring endless amounts of joy..

My son, Xavey, has high-functioning autism. We have been lucky enough to be made aware of many of the biological aspects of Autism, allowing us to use approaches which have significantly minimized symptoms.
